Overview
Lighter is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange that utilizes a central limit order book (CLOB) model built on a zero-knowledge rollup architecture, delivering the speed and user experience comparable to centralized exchanges. All trading and liquidation processes are transparently and securely verified through zk-Validity Proofs. The Lighter Liquidity Pool (LLP) provides stable liquidity as a counterparty to trades and pursues a capital-efficient liquidity model where deposited assets can also be utilized as margin in the future.
