Overview
Scroll (SCR) is a Layer 2 solution designed to scale the Ethereum ecosystem, leveraging zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup technology to address Ethereum’s high gas fees and network congestion. Through ZK rollups, Scroll enables faster and cheaper transaction processing while maintaining Ethereum mainnet–level security and decentralization. SCR is the utility token of the Scroll ecosystem and is used for DAO participation, validator incentives, and sequencer operations.
