Overview
Zest Protocol (ZEST) is a Bitcoin DeFi (BTCFi) lending protocol operating on Bitcoin L2 (Stacks) and Bitcoin L1, featuring Bitcoin Collateral Vaults that allow users to borrow USDC against native BTC held in self-custodial Taproot vaults — without wrapping or bridging. Vault rules are enforced directly on the Bitcoin network via BitVM, while risk isolation architecture and a soft liquidation mechanism enhance systemic stability, with $79.8M in TVL achieved. ZEST is the native utility token backed by YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs) and Draper Associates, with a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens.
