Avantis is a perpetual futures exchange built on the Base network that expands beyond the traditional focus of tokenized asset markets on U.S. Treasuries by offering a broad range of on-chain tradable assets. While existing real-world asset (RWA) infrastructures have largely been limited to short-term government bonds and have struggled to meet diverse market demands, Avantis supports commodities such as gold and silver, major foreign exchange markets including USD and JPY, and highly volatile real-world–linked assets such as crude oil, enabling direct on-chain trading rather than simple tokenization. The AVNT token is used for staking and is expected to be utilized for governance participation in the future.
