Overview
Blast is a Layer 2 blockchain developed to address the limitations of traditional rollups. Unlike other Layer 2 solutions, Blast offers native yield, enabling users to engage in on-chain activities while receiving rewards comparable to staking yields. This native yield is generated by deploying assets bridged to Blast across yield-generating protocols such as Lido’s liquid staking platform and MakerDAO’s T-Bill products. BLAST, the governance token of Blast, is used for protocol-level decision-making and participation in governance.
