Overview
Eclipse is a Layer 2 blockchain designed to enhance the scalability of the Ethereum network by adopting the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) as its execution environment, enabling high performance and fast transaction processing. By combining Ethereum’s security with Solana’s execution performance, Eclipse aims to overcome the limitations of existing Ethereum-based rollups and deliver an improved experience for both developers and users. ES is the utility token of Eclipse and is intended to be used for staking, governance, and transaction fees.
