Overview
Ethena USDe is a crypto-native synthetic dollar stablecoin within the Ethena ecosystem that maintains its peg through a delta-neutral hedging strategy applied to its underlying collateral assets. By executing delta-neutral positions, USDe aims to preserve price stability without relying on traditional fiat reserves.
USDe functions as Ethena’s asset-backed token and can be used as a dollar-denominated stablecoin across DeFi activities. Users may also stake USDe to receive sUSDe, through which they participate in the distribution of protocol-generated yield.
