Overview
Ethena (ENA) is a stablecoin DeFi protocol that issues USDe against collateral such as ETH and liquid staking tokens (LSTs). Users can mint USDe—designed to maintain a 1:1 value peg to USD—by posting crypto assets such as LSTs as collateral, and can use USDe to access staking services and leveraged products. In addition, minted USDe can be utilized across other DeFi protocols, including services such as perpetual futures and options. ENA is Ethena’s utility token and is used for governance participation.
