Overview
Marinade is a Solana-based liquid staking optimization protocol. When depositing SOL into Marinade, users can choose between native staking and liquid staking. Deposited SOL is delegated to validators selected to optimize staking yield. Users who choose liquid staking receive mSOL, a liquid staking token backed 1:1 by their deposited SOL. MNDE is Marinade’s native asset; it was airdropped to Marinade users as rewards and is used as a governance token.
