Overview
Sperax aims to build a more efficient and autonomous decentralized economy than traditional economic models. Sperax offers USDs, a stablecoin pegged to the value of the U.S. dollar. USDs is a hybrid stablecoin backed by crypto collateral and stabilized through algorithmic mechanisms that adjust to keep its value at $1. Among hybrid stablecoins, it was the first to introduce an automatic interest-yield feature. To mint USDs, users must provide a certain amount of SPA tokens along with crypto collateral such as USDT or USDC, and the SPA tokens used in the process are burned. SPA is the utility token of the Sperax network, used to mint and help maintain the peg of USDs, while also serving as a governance token.
