Overview
Stafi is a DeFi protocol designed on Substrate, Polkadot’s blockchain technology framework, that enables liquidity for staked assets. Stafi supports various PoS coins. When users stake PoS coins through Stafi, they receive an rToken (reward token) minted against the staked asset. rTokens are pegged 1:1 to the underlying PoS coin, meaning users receive the same amount of rTokens as the amount they stake. Users can earn staking rewards via rTokens while also using them across DEXs, CEXs, or other DeFi protocols. If needed, users can redeem their staked tokens at any time. FIS is the native token of the Stafi chain. To participate as a validator or nominator, users must stake FIS. FIS can also be used to pay transaction fees on the Stafi chain and to mint or redeem rTokens. In addition, FIS is required to participate in governance, including voting on protocol upgrades and development-related proposals.
