Overview
Taiko (TAIKO) is an Ethereum Layer 2 project built on technologies such as Based Rollups, Contestable Rollups, and Booster Rollups. By utilizing Based Rollup technology that uses Ethereum validators as sequencers, Taiko addresses Ethereum’s high cost issues while preserving the network’s security. In addition, Taiko implements a multi-proof system through Contestable Rollups and enables decentralized applications deployed on Ethereum to be used on Taiko without additional configuration through Booster Rollups. TAIKO is the native token of the Taiko network and is used for governance, node operation collateral, and related purposes.
