Overview
Tether Gold is a project designed to combine the advantages of physical assets and digital assets, enabling holders to own gold in the form of a digital asset. Each XAUT represents ownership of one troy ounce (approximately 31.1 grams) of physical gold that meets the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Good Delivery standard, on a 1:1 basis.
This structure allows investors to hold the value of gold in a secure and efficient manner while avoiding the storage costs, transportation risks, and accessibility constraints associated with direct ownership of physical gold.
