Overview
THORChain is a project that provides a cross-chain DeFi platform. Through THORChain, users can swap native assets (such as ETH, BTC, and BNB) across different chains directly, without relying on wrapped or pegged assets. RUNE is THORChain’s native token and is used for (1) node operation and validator rewards, (2) paying fees for using services on THORChain, (3) liquidity provision and rewards, (4) governance voting, and (5) serving as the intermediary asset in swaps.
