Overview
Towns (TOWNS) is a Web3-based decentralized communication protocol that allows users to create and own digital communities called “Spaces” on-chain. Each Space is represented as an NFT, enabling access control, permission management, and transparent governance, clearly differentiating it from centralized messaging platforms. The TOWNS token is used for governance voting, staking to contribute to network security, activity-based rewards, Space access rights, and fee payments.
