Overview
WalletConnect is a protocol that connects blockchain wallets with decentralized applications (dApps). Built on the WalletConnect Network as its underlying database and messaging infrastructure, it enables seamless integration between wallets and applications with the goal of improving the on-chain user experience. To operate the network, WalletConnect utilizes Service Nodes and Gateway Nodes. WCT is used for governance and staking purposes.
