Maple is a decentralized credit platform that provides institutional lending services. Institutional borrowers seeking transparent and efficient on-chain financing can obtain undercollateralized loans on Maple without the typical burden of liquidations and margin calls. Pool delegates conduct due diligence on borrowers, negotiate loan terms, and source lending capital from designated liquidity pools. Liquidity providers can earn sustainable yields across different pools. Maple’s governance token, MPL, is used for governance, staking, and providing insurance coverage for lending pools.
