Overview
Cap (CAP) is the governance and revenue-share token of the Covered Agents Protocol, a decentralized stablecoin and credit infrastructure platform. The protocol issues cUSD, a dollar-denominated stablecoin backed by a reserve of regulated stablecoins and tokenized money market funds, alongside stcUSD, its yield-bearing counterpart. Yield is generated by institutional operators — including banks, high-frequency trading firms, and market makers — who borrow through Cap's Credit Engine and are backed by risk underwriters in its Financial Guarantee Market. Operating on Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum, Cap has grown to $500 million in TVL since its August 2025 launch and is backed by EigenLayer. CAP has a total supply of 10 billion tokens.
