Overview
EURC is a euro-pegged stablecoin issued by Circle, fully backed 1:1 by euro-denominated deposits held in regulated financial institutions, and issued under the EU's MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulatory framework as a fully compliant electronic money token. Natively issued across multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Base, and Stellar, it is designed for cross-border payments, remittances, and DeFi use cases, with monthly third-party reserve attestation reports published for full transparency. EURC is Circle's European market-focused stablecoin — one of the first major non-dollar stablecoins to receive full MiCA authorization within the EU.
