Overview
USD.AI (CHIP) is a permissionless lending protocol built to finance AI infrastructure, enabling GPU operators to tokenize their hardware as collateral and access instant financing. The protocol issues USDai — a synthetic dollar backed by high-performance GPU and compute infrastructure — alongside sUSDai, a yield-bearing staked asset, and has reached $345M in total deposits with backing from Coinbase Ventures, Dragonfly, and DCG. CHIP is the governance and staking token of the USD.AI protocol, with a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens.
